Aaron was Right

Fixing our stenciling was harder that I thought. But we got the inside cleaned up and started on some carpet. We'll get it finished up next weekend. Project motto: "Well, that didn't work."

We're Getting There

So we got a better gun and gave it another shot. Check out the 4th Meridian Farms Special Bus Painting Apparatus. Thanks Guys!!!

Second Try at Blue

Turns out the first blue was a bit too "Gainesville". So we re-mixed the color and gave it another shot. Unfortunately, the spray gun was smarter than us and we got a few streaks. In the words of Ferris Bueller- "Not one lesson."

Orange Stripes

Started painting the Orange Stripes. Go Canes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Taping and Sanding

Took the thing up to my buddies at 4th Meridian Farms near Rio, IL. They took the lift out, pulled the mirrors off and we got to work sanding and taping.

This Thing Has Potential

The bus was originally used by the school district in Oregon, WI. Apparently it was then sold to a daycare. Although the clown who sold it to me misrepresented the milage on the thing, it was in pretty good shape, so what the hell. It had been nicknamed "The Pickle" by the locals.
